The radial position of the oil groove in the belt conveyor has a great influence on the viscous torque. If most oil grooves are positioned closer to the outer circle of the friction plate, the viscous torque will be more affected by the oil tank. On the contrary, if the oil groove is closer to the inner circle of the friction plate, the influence of the oil groove will be smaller.
The depth of the oil tank has a certain influence on the viscous torque. When the oil tank depth increases, the torque will decrease at a faster speed. However, as the oil tank depth increases further, the belt conveyor torque will tend to flatten. But generally speaking, viscous torque is not sensitive to the change of oil tank depth.
The influence of the depth of the oil tank on the torque is similar. In a certain range, the width of the oil groove is increased, and the decrease of the viscous torque is not large. When the oil groove distribution and the oil tank area are close, the shape of the oil groove on the friction plate has little influence on the viscous torque. The shape of the oil groove of belt conveyor mainly affects the flow of the fluid and the corresponding oil film pressure distribution. Hydro viscous controllable transmission system when working with the oil film thickness is becoming thinner, oil film temperature rising, the last moment combined with the friction plate reached the maximum oil film temperature will increase; the viscous torque is reduced.
